House Rules & Policies
We strive to provide our adult guests with an exceptionally clean, safe, and friendly accommodation experience. Due to the proximity to the river and the quiet nature of the accommodations, infants and young children are discouraged. The following House Rules and Policies have been established based on industry standards, management and operational procedures, and our personal experience of owning and operating the Salmon Gypsy Bed & Breakfast. These policies and rules are considered a part of our reservation agreement with you. As our guest, by completing your registration you are agreeing to abide by all of our policies and rules. These policies/house rules are presented here to help promote our guests’ safety and enjoyment and to ensure that each guest is aware of the understandings between the Salmon Gypsy Bed & Breakfast and the guest.
100% SMOKE-FREE
Salmon Gypsy Bed & Breakfast is 100% Smoke-Free. For safety and to assure that our facility is not exposed to items or actions that create an odor which is unhealthy and objectionable to our guests, and that is difficult to remove from the air, carpet, walls, and furniture we do not permit smoking tobacco, marijuana, illegal drugs, e-cigarettes, vape pens, vaping, cartridges containing the liquid of nicotine, hookahs, incense, cigars, candle burning, the use or diffusing of patchouli oil or other strong-smelling plant-based essential oils or synthetic products in our gypsy wagons or anywhere on our grounds.
Guests are encouraged to notify us immediately if they smell cigarette, marijuana, or other objectionable odors. This policy is not intended to stop people from smoking, but to regulate where they smoke and how it affects others. A designated smoking area is provided outside and away from the premises. Marijuana is prohibited at all times.
SELF CHECK-IN TIME: 3:00 p.m. – 9:00 pm. Early and/or late arrival requests may be approved based on the arrival of next guests, but please check with property before arrival to verify whether you can be accommodated.. It is IMPERATIVE that you read the information sheet on the kitchen counter. The operating systems in the tiny house/gypsy wagon are not what you may be used to (especially the bathroom!) and we want your visit to be safe and comfortable.
EARLY CHECK-IN/PRE-REGISTRATION:
Early check-in is offered based on availability. If you require a guaranteed check-in for arrival prior to 3 p.m. then Pre-Registration and payment may be required. Please contact us directly to make inquiries regarding early check-in. EARLY CHECK-IN FEES MAY APPLY.
CHECK-OUT TIME: Room rental period expires at 11:00 a.m.
CHECK-OUT PROCEDURE:
Check-out time is 11 a.m. As we do not charge cleaning or use fees, please make sure your kitchen items used are washed, dried and put away for the next guest. (You do not need to strip bed, etc.) Leave key in gypsy wagon before your departure. If you require a later check-out, please contact us prior to the day of your departure and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
CANCELLATION
All cancellations are to be made by phone (no emails or text messages will be accepted) by 11:59 pm at least 72 hours prior to the day of arrival (except for holiday weekends which require 10 day advance notice) to be exempt from the cancellation charges. Cancellation charge is equivalent to one night’s rental fee except holidays where full fees and charges will apply for length of reserved stay. All no shows will also be charged as noted herein.
BREAKFAST: – A breakfast is included for each guest. A menu is provided and we ask that due to shortages and deliveries in the area, that the menu choices be provided to us no later than 48 hours prior to arrival via email or text. Thereafter breakfast items may not be available. Last minute reservations have limited breakfast item choices.
EARLY DEPARTURE:
Guests who check out after 11:00 a.m. and prior to their scheduled departure date are subject to an early departure fee of one night, plus tax.
CLEANING FEES
Salmon Gypsy Bed & Breakfast does not include a cleaning fee in the registration fees. We do, however, ask that you wash your dishes, pans and utensils after use. Dish soup and towels are provided for your convenience.
CANDLE, INCENSE, ESSENTIAL OILS:
Candle, incense, essential oils (diffusing, vaporizing, etc.) are prohibited. These items and activities will be treated as smoking, a possible fine accessed, and the guest may be evicted with no refunds.
PARKING AT OWN RISK:
Only one vehicle per wagon. If additional parking space is needed, please call ahead. Parking for registered guest(s) is free. All vehicles are parked at the risk of the owner. Salmon Gypsy Bed & Breakfast shall not assume liability or responsibility for any vehicle, occupants, or contents while operated or parked on the property. If a vehicle is left in the parking lot after the guest has departed without the written consent of the Salmon Gypsy Bed & Breakfast, we reserve the right to have the vehicle towed at the owner’s expense. No vehicle repairs on premises
PET POLICIES
We love our furry friends, but only certified service dogs are permitted and only upon prior notice. Site must be notified at the time of booking. Dogs are not allowed around the private residence or in the donkey area. Guests may not leave the service dogs unguarded in the wagon or parking area while outside the B&B. The B&B reserves the right to charge the room bill any cost of extra cleaning, repairs or for replacements should this be necessary during the stay or at the time of check-out.
QUIET HOURS: 10:00 p.m. to 9 a.m. If you become aware of a disruptive guest, please contact us immediately by phone or in person. Televisions, voices, or other devices must be kept at a respectful low level at all times. Doors should be opened and closed quietly.
LINEN CHANGING:
Your comfort is very important to us. For guests staying multiple nights, bed and bath linens shall be changed on a schedule convenient to the guest and staff, but no more than once a week. Please contact us if you have any additional questions or concerns. Towels are provided to lend for visits to the hot springs, etc. Towels in the wagon are to stay in the wagon.
FREE WiFi ACCESS:
Access to our WiFi is free for our registered guests. The WiFi access code is subject to change without notice. WiFi signals are subject to change without notice depending on the wagon’s location, the status of our WiFi-equipment, and interference from other local wireless signals. Salmon Gypsy Bed & Breakfast assumes no liability for guest use.
DAMAGE AND/OR THEFT OF SALMON GYPSY BED & BREAKFAST PROPERTY
You are liable for any damage howsoever caused (whether by the deliberate, negligent, or reckless act) to the wagon(s), the premises or property caused by you or any person in your party whether or not staying at the B&B during your stay. Salmon Gypsy Bed & Breakfast reserves the right to retain your credit card and/or debit card details as presented at registration and charge or debit the credit /debit card such amounts as it shall in its sole discretion deem necessary to compensate or make good the cost or expenses incurred or suffered by Salmon Gypsy Bed & Breakfast as a result of the aforesaid. Should this damage come to light after the guest has departed, we reserve the right and you hereby authorize us to charge your credit or debit card for any damage incurred to your Gypsy Wagon or the property during your stay, including and without limitation for all property damage, missing or damaged items, smoking fee, cleaning fee, guest compensation, etc. We will make every effort to rectify any damage internally prior to contracting specialist to make the repairs, and therefore will make every effort to keep any costs that the guest would incur to a minimum.
DAMAGE DISCOVERED AFTER CHECK-OUT:
Guest Rooms found with waste strewn around, in complete disorder, and/or “trashed” will be subject to maintenance deep cleaning fee, administration fee and/or third party fees.
DAMAGE TO GYPSY WAGON:
Damage to wagon or tent, fixtures, furnishing and equipment including the removal of electronic equipment, towels, art work, etc. will be charge at 120% of full and new replacement value plus any shipping and handling charges. Any damage to B&B property, whether accidental or willful, is the responsibility of the registered guest for each particular wagon. Any costs associated with repairs and/or replacement will be charged to the credit card of the registered guest. In extreme cases, criminal charges will be pursued.
DAMAGE TO MATTRESSES AND BEDDING:
Damage to mattresses and linen including; towels, mattress pads, sheets, bedspreads, blankets resulting from the use of body oils, make-up, shoe-polish, hair products, etc. will result in a charge for the special cleaning, repair or replacement of the damaged article.
